Tara Mikkilineni is a senior fellow at Protect Borrowers, founding Partner of Halperin Petersen & Mikkilineni LLP, and a co-founder of the Hub for Innovative Law Offices, an incubator for public interest attorneys starting their own legal practices. She was formerly special counsel to the enforcement director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and was previously a civil rights litigator and public defender in Washington, D.C.
