Samantha Wing is finishing up her BA in philosophy, politics, and law and political science at Binghamton University, where she is also pursuing a masters of public administration. At Binghamton, Samantha worked as vice president of her campus’ Roosevelt Network, for which she led the creation of a student written policy agenda for Broome County. She has conducted labor research on the right to form unions and collectively bargain globally. She also volunteers at the Ain’t I a Woman campaign where she assists with advocacy against sweatshop labor conditions, including the fight against the twenty-four-hour workday for home care workers in New York City. Samantha enjoys drawing and making playlists in her free time. At TFC, Samantha will be working with the labor team as a Summer Scholar.
