Lia Tabackman is the senior digital communications associate at The Century Foundation. Her work at TCF is rooted in engaging online audiences with progressive policy and research, strategizing and expanding TCF’s digital and social media presence, and combating online misinformation. She is particularly passionate about health care reform and achieving economic justice for disabled people.
Before joining TCF, she worked as a content marketing strategist in the nonprofit sector and as a freelance reporter and editor—primarily covering health-related content for national outlets including Insider, Healthline, and Health.com.
Earlier in her career, she worked as a multi-platform editor and web reporter for CBS 6 News (WTVR.com), a broadcast news station serving central Virginia. She graduated summa cum laude with a BS in journalism and political science from Virginia Commonwealth University.
