Joanne Nucho is an anthropologist and filmmaker. She is the author of Everyday Sectarianism in Urban Lebanon (Princeton University Press, 2016) and a forthcoming book about energy transition in California. She is co-director, with Rosy Kuftedjian, of the documentary Narrow Streets of Bourj Hammoud.
