David N. Griffiths conducts independent applied research in international affairs. A former Canadian naval officer, he has extensive experience in facilitating maritime aspects of confidence and cooperation in regions of tension. He holds a master’s degree in marine management and research fellowships with academic institutions in Canada and abroad.
