Bruce Baker is professor in the Department of Educational Theory, Policy and Administration at Rutgers Graduate School of Education in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He has been at Rutgers since 2008. Prior to Rutgers, Professor Baker was at the University of Kansas in Lawrence from 1997 to 2008. Professor Baker’s specializes in the study of state school finance systems, including the estimation of education costs. He also studies teacher and administrator labor markets and his work extends from elementary and secondary education through postsecondary institutions and systems.
