Retirement Security
It is unquestionably true that the nation is "graying" and that the share of the population in the workforce will decline relative to the retired portion, posing significant economic and social challenges. But while the aging of the population is inevitable, a financial crisis arising from the process is not. Our research, analysis, and public education efforts in this area focus on issues that include Social Security, Medicare, and pensions.
