Oscar is working with Andrew Stettner and the rest of the labor team as a member of the 2016 internship class on conducting research related to initiatives aimed at improving economic and job prospects for low- and middle-income Americans. He is an MS candidate in science and economic theory and policy at the Levy Economics Institute, Bard College, where he also received his BA. He has worked on the Bard Prison Initiative, and has also studied economics at the University of Havana in his home country of Cuba.
