Mario Cardona is a partner at EducationCounsel, a mission-based practice within the Nelson Mullins law firm. Previously, Mario served as a senior education advisor at the White House Domestic Policy Council for President Obama and President Biden. He also served as the policy director for the Children’s Equity Project at Arizona State University and the chief of policy, practice, and research for Child Care Aware of America. Mario was a senior aide in the United States Senate, where he worked to pass the most recent reauthorization of the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act.
