Marc Lynch is professor of political science at The George Washington University and director of the Project on Middle East Political Science (POMEPS). His most recent book is The New Arab Wars: Uprisings and Anarchy in the Middle East (PublicAffairs: 2016). In 2016 he was named an Andrew Carnegie Fellow.
