Dr. Leigh Mingle (she/her) is the vice president of research and operations for Ensemble Learning, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving school quality and removing barriers for multilingual learners. She is the primary author of Ensemble Learning’s two federal grants, Learning While Leading and the Texas Dual Language Project—both of which are SEED and NPD grants funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Dr. Mingle specializes in program evaluation, motivation, socio-emotional learning, and mathematics education. She currently serves on the Renaissance Learning advisory boards for mathematics and biliteracy. Dr. Mingle holds a PhD in educational psychology, with an emphasis on development and cognition from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
