Lauren Hipp is the national director of early learning and Washington State for MomsRising.org. She brings over a decade of experience in the early learning field doing policy, advocacy and organizing, philanthropy, and policy and program implementation in both Washington State and nationally. Hipp has led successful state and national campaigns rooted in the experience of moms and families, working to craft and policy solutions that meet the needs of children and families. Most recently, Hipp co-led a project to bring over thirty-five moms from across the country to Washington, D.C. to successfully lobby the White House to publicly advance funding for affordable child care. As an expert in the field, Hipp has been interviewed by major national and local media outlets including Marketplace, Scripps, and the Seattle Times. She holds a masters of public administration from the Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington.
