Katie Hamm is the vice president of Early Childhood Policy at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, Hamm worked as a program examiner at the U.S. Office of Management and Budget on federal child care and early education programs, including the Race to the Top Early Learning Challenge, the Child Care and Development Fund, and the Head Start program. Her work focused on developing budget proposals to strengthen the quality and access to early childhood programs.
