Jeremy Edwards is a senior communications advisor at The Century Foundation (TCF), bringing to TCF a diverse and extensive background in public affairs, media relations, and crisis communications. Most recently, he served as a White House spokesperson and assistant press secretary to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

In his prior role at FEMA, Jeremy excelled in developing and executing comprehensive communications strategies for the agency, often collaborating with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies. His responsibilities included advising key agency leaders, such as Administrator Deanne Criswell and Deputy Administrator Erik Hooks on media engagements and strategy. In his role as deputy director of public affairs and press secretary for the agency, Jeremy helped oversee the public affairs strategy for the entire agency.

Before FEMA, Jeremy held a variety of communications roles across the federal government and on a number of political campaigns. As the deputy press secretary at the U.S. Department of Commerce, he served as a public affairs specialist for the department and the primary spokesperson for Deputy Secretary Don Graves, while also overseeing all sub-agency communications and advising Secretary Gina Raimondo on select topics. Jeremy was also the press secretary for the Biden for President Georgia Campaign, a deputy spokesperson at the U.S. Department of Justice, and director of communications for former U.S. Congressman Bobby Rush.

Jeremy is also a proud Syracuse native and Syracuse University alumnus, with a bachelor of science in communication and rhetoric.
