Ishi Sahni is a Vice President of Development at The Century Foundation. She was previously a Senior Director of Development at Planned Parenthood in New Jersey, where she led the affiliate’s fundraising, working alongside national offices. She also worked as a Director of Development at Streetwise Partners in New York City and GrowNYC, which runs more than 45 Greenmarkets across the city, including the Union Square Greenmarket and other initiatives, where she launched several multi-channel fundraising campaigns and corporate and marketing engagements. She has been professionally in development for over 15 years and has been involved with board management and strategic partnerships in most of her roles before Century. She spearheaded a capital campaign for a state-of-the-art education and sustainability center called Project Farmhouse, located at 14th Street in New York City. 

Her area of expertise includes fundraising in institutional, major/individual, and corporate sectors, and planned giving. She has expertise in strategic planning, budget management, partnership development in identifying external and internal drivers, organizational alignment and barriers, nurturing strategic relationships, facilitating inter-organizational collaboration and consensus, and identifying growth opportunities. 

She prioritizes fundraising practices that elevate the mission, power, and voice of the organization to leverage external stakeholders and partnerships. 

She resides in Jersey City with her husband, a three-year-old son, and a furry friend, Loki.
