Hannah Mason is an English learners (EL) intern at The Century Foundation, focusing on dual-language immersion programs in public schools. In addition to working at TCF, Hannah is an EL specialist at a middle school in Nashville, Tennessee. Hannah is currently pursuing a MPP at Vanderbilt University with a specialized concentration of K–12 education policy. She graduated from The University of Georgia with a BA in religion and a minor in teaching English to speakers of other languages. In the future, Hannah hopes to conduct large-scale research projects across the globe that focus on dual language students and low-income black and brown children’s access to high-quality secondary education.
