Greg Carlock is a Washington, D.C.–based researcher in climate action policy and data. He is a manager in the Climate Program at World Resources Institute, where he develops data tools and resources that support climate action and sustainability ambition, planning, and implementation. He is also a senior fellow for climate at Data for Progress, a multidisciplinary group that partners with movements to deploy surveys, policy research, and data-driven analyses to advance progressive conversations. He led the Green New Deal policy framework in September 2018 that was seminal to the national policy debate that followed. Greg received his B.S. degree in Ecology from The Ohio State University and Masters of Public Policy, Environmental Policy, from University of Maryland.
