Fuad Bateh - The Century Foundation

Fuad Bateh served as an advisor to the former Palestinian water minister (2008–11), and was then seconded to the Union for the Mediterranean (2011–15). He was the project lead on the large-scale desalination facility for Gaza. He then served at the Office of the Quartet (2015–16).

On August 31, Hamas agreed to temporarily end hostilities with Israel in exchange for a cash infusion from Qatar and an agreement with Israel to once again allow fuel to Gaza’s power station in a bid to calm the ongoing situation and deal with the latest coronavirus outbreak.
