Elizabeth Davies was a K-12 policy intern at The Century Foundation in 2015. Elizabeth is a recent graduate of Emory University, where she wrote her senior honors thesis, “Politics, Protest, and Hashtag Activism,” which considers how social media has become a political space for African-American youth. Elizabeth has spent time in Atlanta high schools as a tutor and teaching assistant, and is interested in how class and race continue to affect educational inequality.
