Christy Veeder, Ph.D. works as the National Program Director for Jobs to Move America, where focuses on increasing awareness and support for equitable, high-road job opportunities in the manufacturing sector. This work builds on experience Christy gained as the 2016-2017 AMS Congressional Policy Fellow, during which she had the opportunity to work on environmental and energy policy, labor relations, and industrial manufacturing issues in the US Senate. Prior to her time on Capitol Hill, Christy worked in the structural engineering sector, where she provided in-house marketing and business development expertise on projects for New York City’s transportation and infrastructure agencies.
