In observance of National Stillbirth Prevention Day, we invite you to a film screening and panel discussion on ProPublica’s documentary, Before a Breath. This powerful film illuminates the profound impact of stillbirth, highlighting the stories of three women with lived experience of infant loss.

A panel discussion will follow the screening, providing audience members an opportunity to hear from national advocates at the forefront of efforts to end preventable stillbirths. Please join us to learn more about this silent crisis and how you can drive impactful change.

Featuring:

  • Elizabeth Dawes, director of maternal and reproductive health, The Century Foundation
  • Kanika Harris, executive director, National Association to Advance Black Birth
  • Jenifer Rowray, director of advocacy and engagement, Healthy Birth Day, Inc.
