What role did health care play in the 2018 midterm elections and how will this affect the contours and content of the health platforms in the 2020 presidential election? The Century Foundation, Health Affairs, and Commonwealth Fund are hosting a deep-dive discussion of the likely Democrats’ and Republicans’ approaches and how they could be refined to address criticisms and solve health system problems. Two Health Affairs papers, one co-written by TCF senior fellow Jeanne Lambrew, will be released at the event. A panel of experts will join the discussion aimed at helping policy makers get ready for the next health reform debate.
