The Report of the Century Foundation Working Group on Bioterrorism Preparedness,” a group of leading public health policy experts and practitioners recommend establishing national standards, bolstering the public health workforce, and building a public health system that can respond both to deliberate attacks and to daily threats to health. As concerns about terrorism, budget priorities, and containment of infectious diseases persist, this report is especially timely.
