Torie Smith is a Digital Communications Coordinator at The Century Foundation. A long-time champion of progressive issues, she has interned at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), the United Nations Information Center (UNIC) in DC, and Fenton — a social change communications agency. Following completion of her undergraduate studies in 2011, she spent time in Taipei, Taiwan, studying Mandarin. A Tennessee native, Torie holds a BA in Anthropology and Political Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and an MA in Strategic Communication from American University.
